Steppenwolf's Story

Look who made it to Saving Grace? Steppenwolf!
This bouncy little heartthrob is ready to rock your world with his irresistible mix of playfulness and snuggles. True to his name, Steppenwolf will jump
straight into your arms for a cuddle, hop down for a quick play session, then circle back for more love-on repeat. His tail is always wagging, his whole body wiggles with joy, and his stunning tri-color coat makes him stand out wherever he goes.
Just under 1 year old and about 20 lbs, this lab retriever mix still has some growing and lots of learning to do, but he's eager, affectionate, and oh-so-ready for someone to show him the ropes. If you're looking for a happy companion who loves equally to snuggle and to play, Steppenwolf is your guy!
*Sleepover feedback: "He is one of the friendliest dogs I've ever met. Every single human is immediately his best friend. He is also very playful with other dogs. On walks, he is very observant and curious with new smells and noises. Even though he is young, he did not mess the house once. He figured out very quickly where he was supposed to go potty, and was very efficient when outside. He is a very loving, playful dog".

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
