Stella Grace ~ Local Girl's Story

**Please read Stella Grace's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!**

Meet Stella Grace, a 10-week-old Labrador/Beagle mix who weighs 9 pounds (as of 12/20/25). This lovable girl was recently surrendered to us due to her owner's unfortunate allergies. But Stella Grace is not deterred! While she'll always love her previous home, she hopes to love her new home with YOU even more!

Not only did Stella Grace live in a house with a toddler and another dog, she thrived in it! Her favorite activities include playing with her humans, chewing toys, and running around outside to her heart's content. But on the days where your energy is low, Stella Grace is more than happy to cuddle with you on the couch as you compare your life to your friends' on social media. They might have gone to Bali this summer, but guess what? You got Bali right at home with sunny Stella Grace. And you didn't even need a passport!

Right now, Stella Grace is trying very hard to learn house rules like commands, crates and potty training, but with love and patience, she'll tackle those skills with ease. She also adores her humans very much and might take awhile to get used to being by herself, but if you're already living the hermit life, it's a win-win! Stella Grace's previous owners describe her as "a loving, energetic puppy" who is a "10/10 smarty pants." Based on that description, we're sure that Stella Grace will eventually use her smarts to solve world hunger. Or at least her hunger. Either way, the girl's got potential! Meet her today!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

To adopt or learn more about Stella Grace, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $650] **

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
