Stella's Story

Meet Stella!
*We are working on getting better pictures of Stella, these are just her intake photos!*

She is estimated to be between 2-4yrs old.

This beautiful girl is looking for a new forever home!

Stella is apart of a hoarding case we recently took on where there were 30 Husky mixes living in one home in Holland, Michigan. Unfortunately the owner passed away, and prior to his passing he suffered from some physical and mental health issues that made it difficult for him to pick up after so many dogs and he struggled to give them away when they were puppies as he didn’t want to separate the moms from their babies. Stellas former owner truly loved all of the dogs in his care, and they all loved him.

These pups are not your typical “Hoarding” case dogs as they are all very sweet, well mannered and well behaved, they are crate trained (Stella should have a plastic crate vs a metal wire crate), they know some basic commands, and they understand the concept of potty training! (Although we never guarantee that a pup will not have accidents going into a new environment)

We are recommending a securely fenced in yard for Stella’s new home or a family that never intends to have her off leash.

Stella is fixed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative and started on preventatives! She is currently under weight a bit, but has been improving slowly over the past few weeks!

She is good with other dogs (we would recommend a home with docile male dogs). However we do not believe she is good with cats (she would likely chase them) and she is one of the more skittish/nervous dogs from the home so we do not think she would enjoy kids in her new home. She does take a few minutes to warm up to strangers, but after she warms up she will become your best friend and immediately try to crawl into your lap to give you kisses! We are hoping to find her a low commotion, quiet home, with maybe a few doggie friends.

To inquire about adopting this very sweet girl, please email us or follow the prompts through petfinder to fill out an application.

***This pets adoption fee has been sponsored, meaning there is no cost to adopt them from us!***
