Stella

Stella has been an ideal house guest and will make a wonderful addition to someone's family. <br/><br/>Here's what her fosters want to share with everyone: <br/>- Energy: Absolutely perfect. She likes to play with toys and go for walks, but she is happy curling up on the couch and relaxing too. <br/>-Ideal Home: Stella loves wandering around our fenced in yard, but also enjoys walks. She really loves our teenagers and has happily accepted attention from younger kids at events. She seems content to sleep while we are away and has learned that "place" means she heads into her kennel. She quietly sleeps through the night and greets you with a smile in the morning. <br/>-Other animals: We have two other dogs and Stella has done well with them. We do recommend a slow and intentional introduction, as she likes to get to know who she is sharing a space with in order to build trust. Stella would also be fine as the only dog in your house. <br/>-Other things to know: Stella is fully housetrained, gentle with treats, and a loose leash walker. She can be a bit nervous in new environments, but we've found that giving her a little space and reassurance helps a lot. The only thing we've found that Stella doesn't enjoy is fireworks. <br/><br/>We really want people to know that while Stella's paperwork says she is 10, she doesn't act like it! This girl is genuinely fabulous. She's easy going and adapts to what her humans are doing. Don't let her age fool you, Stella has a lot of love to give and she's the youngest 10 year old dog you'll meet! <br/><br/>We are happy to answer any questions about Stella.
