Meet Stella the Formosan Mountain Dog! Stella is 7yrs old and 40lbs of sweetness. She is shy of new people until she gets to know them, then she will want to be by their side for cuddles and her favorite thing ever – pets.  Stella is great on leash, she enjoys walks, runs, and hikes. She loves looking for lizards and squirrels outside. She’s in bliss on trail walks. She loves her daily greenie bone, treats, toys, and a comfy place to nap. Stella is happiest snuggled up to her family members. No amount of belly rubs, ear scratches, or head pats would be enough. Stella is nervous around very young kids, a household of humans 16 yrs + is recommended for Stella to thrive and feel comfortable.  She does well with other dogs and cats. She would do great with a single owner or a couple with no small children. She is very loyal and has a lot of love to give. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family.
