Stella **COURTESY LISTING**CONTACT OWNER DIRECTELY**'s Story

**COURTESY LISTING**CONTACT HALLIE770@GMAIL.COM **813-466-9449

Stella is approximately 8 months old. Has all shots, and spayed & microchipped. About 45-50 lbs.

She is probably best as the only dog in the home. She is not aggressive to ALL dogs but she is toward my one dog. My other dog she is fine with.
She loves to cuddle, loves to play fetch & will bring the ball back to you as for long as you will throw it.

I got her she was about 10 - 12 weeks old. Someone had found her tied to a tree. From the start she has shown some skiddish-ness - if you come at her too fast she will cower. I don’t know how she was treated at the beginning of her life but I just don’t think it was well.

She is crate trained (during the day)- she was sleeping in my bed so if she is in the crate at night she cries and barks. She is house trained - won’t potty in the crate or in the house through the night. When she goes out she wants to play and will sometimes forget to potty. If she does go in the house she will go to the puppy pad.

I love her so much. I am so, so sad to do this. I feel absolutely awful to give up on her. The fact that she is so aggressive toward my 10 year old lab is just not something I can fix. I have tried. I have done what I can. I am in fear of another fight, I feel like my life & well being is being affected as well as my old dogs well-being.

Habitat 4 Paws's Adoption Policy
Adopters must visit with a potential pet and adoption counselor. We prefer that all family members and pets are present during this process to ensure a good fit. If all goes well, adopters will complete an application. After application approval, a home visit will be scheduled. We do not hold pets nor do we adopt on a first come, first served basis. Our goal is to find the home that best fits that pet’s needs. Adoption fees are $225 for dogs, $275 for puppies under 1 year of age, $185 for cats and kittens. All pets will be spayed/neutered, receive age appropriate vaccinations and microchip, will be tested for common diseases, and kept current on heartworm and flea preventative. Habitat 4 Paws will host regular offsite adoptions, food drives, microchip clinics and fundraising events. Stay up to date through our website and Facebook page!
