Stella Bella's Story

?Stella Bella? is a 7 year old lab/terrier cross who is about 55 pounds of scruffy magic. This girl loves everyone (particularly men) and is gentle with kids (she has a two legged sister who she has lived with since babyhood). This fun and friendly girl is quiet and calm indoors with a nice level of energetic outside.

Stella is half of the dynamic duo along with her brother-from-another-mother Milo and the two are looking to find a new address together. They have always been together and moving away from their family will be hard enough so Stella is packing half of the suitcase but leaving the other half for her brother's belongings so they can land and unpack somewhere together.

Ms Stella Bella is outgoing, playful, loves being around people which she can combine with her love of napping on her comfy dog bed. She is curious, social and sniff happy which makes this gorgeous scruff face he perfect companion for walks and adventures. Stella is a loyal, committed, and playful companion who is also a champion swimmer so she's looking to have opportunities to take her bikini ready body to next summer's regatta.

At 7 years old, Stella has passed all the silly young puppy stuff and is well trained and willing to please. Her age and bonded status with her brother mean that whomever is lucky enough to bring these two beauties home together will have a ready made, well behaved, dog family who can lean on each other through the transition for a smooth move into their new life.

Stella is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee with her brother Milo is $1500.

**A consult with The Northern Dogs Project's partner dog centric behaviourist is mandatory for anyone interested in adopting Stella and Milo at a cost of $80. This consult gets everyone on the same page and on their way to success.

Adoption process includes application, virtual home visit, phone interview, reference check, meet & greet, adoption contract and $1500 adoption fee.

***Fill out the ADOPTION APPLICATION at:
https://signup.ifaw.org/en-ca/northern-dogs-adoption-application-form

Stella and Milo are waiting for your application so they can flood your lives with joy.

Northern Dogs Project's Adoption Policy
Northern dogs are not a breed but a lifestyle. Until recently most dogs were free roaming but communities are now making changes to how they want to coexist with dogs and many are now tying. Dogs are all identified by Animal Care and are adopted to families in the south as family members only. Northern dogs are smart, experienced, dog social, have been handled by kids, feel safe with women, and are slightly unsure of men at first. Dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (core vaccines DAPP and rabies), microchipped and dewormed.
