Stella Just had her first birthday Nov 26th. She is just the best happy, bouncy, playful, master player of fetch you will ever meet.<br/><br/>Stella was a found dog July 3rd. Went to animal control where she completed her stray hold and when the family did not pick her up, we drove down to get her. We took her by the old house and left a note on the door. The family called but after much discussion, they thought it was best that she not return home. They did not feel that they were home enough to give Stella the attention she needed and without the time and training that she needed, she had turned into a bit of a wild girl.<br/><br/>Stella needed a fence in yard to run in, she needed another dog in the home to play with. She has sooo much playful energy.<br/><br/>She has been in foster for a few short months. She is learning how to walk on leash, crate training and house training is down pat. She is working on commands such as sit, but too excited to sit for any amount of time. She would do well with continued structure and routine, a good exercise regimen and some training/discipline.<br/><br/>Stella is currently 37lb and we think she will be about 45 lbs full grown. Both mom and Dad are about 40 lbs. Mom- a jack russel mix and Dad a whatchamacallit we lovingly call Jo. He's available too. Stella has all of mom's characteristics including her long legs that like to jump and bounce around.
