Stella, AKA: Miss Snuggle Bunny, is a 4-year-old female 35-pound Austrian Cattle Dog. She is up to dates on all shots, spayed and is HW negative. She is house trained, good with other dogs, VERY interested in small furry creatures but has amazing whistle recall when hyper focused on them.<br/><br/>We took Stella in because her original family lost their housing and sadly had to give her up. She’s a southern bell that will adore you to no end. She is good on leash, knows basic commands and is a very energy dog that does not need constant exercise, but will rise to the occasion if you are a runner or hiker type of person. She hardly sheds and is OK with baths. Yes, she is a pure ACD, but one of the rare ones…<br/><br/>She is slow to warm up but can handle social, chaotic situations assuming everyone is aware to just don’t engage her. At both Thanksgiving and Christmas, with 10+ people and two dogs, she had no incidents and even warmed up to a couple people. It took her a day and a half to warm up to me but what an amazing love bug she turned out to be. She is respectful and will give you your space if you ever need it. She is OK sleeping on a cot, couch, or bed.
