She’s the perfect mix of beauty, brains, and bold spirit — and she’s ready to find a forever family who can appreciate all that makes her special.<br/><br/>Stella has a vibrant, playful energy and loves activities like tug-of-war, fetch, and outdoor adventures. She’s happiest when she’s engaged with her people and has a chance to move and explore. If you’re someone who enjoys walks, hikes, or playtime in the yard, Stella will be your loyal sidekick.<br/><br/>Despite her energy, Stella isn’t a big barker — but she is protective and may initially be cautious around new people. Once she knows you’re safe, though, her silly side shines through. Her foster reports that she warms up quickly with a few tasty treats (which she takes gently!) and that she’s learning to build confidence through continued socialization.<br/><br/>Stella is potty trained, walks well with a gentle lead, and does well in her crate at night. During the day she may cry if crated for long periods, so she’d do best in a home where someone is around more often or can give her plenty of stimulation and companionship.<br/><br/>She gets along with other dogs with slow introductions, but true to her energetic nature, she likes to chase cats — so a feline-free home would likely be best. Stella hasn’t lived with kids, and due to her strength and enthusiasm, she’s probably best suited to a home without small children.<br/><br/>This beautiful girl will thrive in a home that offers structure, patience, and plenty of playtime. She’s already come so far and will continue to blossom with the right person by her side.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a smart, spirited, loyal companion who will make every day more fun — Stella may just be your girl.<br/><br/>She is currently being fostered in Centralia.
