Stella's Story
Hi, I’m Stella! We were told I am a lab, pit, great dane & boxer Mix! I am 4 months old and came into the rescue with my brother, Flynn. We came from an accidental litter that the family was struggling to care for. Thankfully, they reached out for help and surrendered us to the rescue where we are thriving!

I arrived emaciated and tired, due to not having receiving enough nutrients for my little (but big) body! Although I’m still underweight, I am still growing and will likely be a big girl! I was living outside for my first 4 months of life, so I am LOVING couch life with my people. Right now I live with a four year old human and a kitty that I am realizing I am SUPER interested in playing with, though, she’s playing hard to get! I do leave her alone when redirected and even sometimes when I’m asked to. She comes up and lays next to me on the couch though, so this is super confusing for my little brain.

I am doing much better in a crate than when I first arrived, but sometimes I do bark because I don’t like to be alone, but I settle and normally sleep through the night. My foster mom and dad have been working with me on potty training, and I’ve been doing pretty good with it! However, I do NOT like the cold (I do love my sweaters though), so sometimes I am super stubborn about going when out there and will have an accident in the house from time to time.

I would love to find a family that will dedicate a lot of time and patience to me as I continue to grow and learn. I love to play fetch with any toy I can find, and sometimes I get something my humans are calling the “zoomies!” This is a good reminder I am likely going to be a larger dog, so please be mindful if you have young children. My foster mom says I am super sweet and love nothing more than to be with my people.

Stella's adoption fee is $600, which includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think she may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Stafford, NY.
