Stella's Story

Beautiful Stella is ready for a home of her own or a foster home!! She is a 7 month old Shepherd/husky/Belgian Mal mix, spayed female, who is current on all shots, and flea medication.

Stella came from a litter of “working dogs”. Where are all the puppies were kept outside and under socialized until they were 9 weeks old and being given away outside of the store. She didn’t have the best start at life so we are working towards changing that for this sweet girl. Stella is great on car rides and is learning to walk on a leash and it’s going well. She doesn’t react to dogs barking and running up and down fences while on walks. She is very calm while walking with very little pulling. We are still working on It and she is improving every day.

Stella is Very food motivated, and a fast learner. She is a busy body and is interested in everything so she needs help to stay focused and someone willing to work with her on this. She is incredibly smart, like a true Shepherd.

Stella is a giant puppy and a very energetic, still learning manners and trying to figure things out. She is crate trained, and housebroken as long as you keep her on a very strict and consistent schedule.

Stella can be very shy at first and takes a minute to warm up but when she does, she will be your best friend. Stella loves every dog that She’s met so far and is learning a lot of confidence from her buddy Spike. So she would do well in a house with another companion. However, I could see her adjusting to a house as a single dog with enough time and patience. She will bark when people knock on the door, but does quiet down when you tell her to and she will alert you to people in the yard, but she has never been aggressive or showed any signs of being aggressive. She loves her Kong, and does play fetch.?

? Currently in Manteca, CA

? Ready to welcome Stella home?
Apply now at SimbasPawDogRescue.org

?
