Hi, please sit with me—I wanna introduce myself. I’m Stella. I’m a terrier mix of some kind, and I’m small at 23 pounds. I’m fixed and up to date on shots. My first home used me just to breed, then gave me away. My second home said I was too small for them (this made me sad because I’m a sweet girl, just on the small side). My third home had a baby and said she couldn’t care for me.<br/><br/>Now I’m 4 years old and with my 4th family, who was only supposed to watch me for 3 days for my previous owner—well, she ghosted them. This brings me to a year with my foster home. They’ve been trying to find me the perfect home on their own, but none has been the right fit yet. So they reached out and surrendered me to Animal Friends Furever to help find my perfect match.<br/><br/>While I get along with the dogs I live with, I am territorial with my toys and food. I’m good with kids, but I’ve been through a lot, so when I meet new people, I’m on full alert. I might growl and make funny noises, but once I know you won’t hurt me, I’m sweet, playful, and a great cuddler.<br/><br/>My perfect home would be a quieter house, maybe with another dog or just me, so I can be the only baby and be spoiled.
