Adoption fees are currently waived.<br/><br/>Haltom City Animal Services does not have a veterinarian on staff, so the adoptor will sign a contract allowing a certain amount of time to have the animal vaccinated for rabies and spayed or neutered at their own expense.<br/><br/>Rescue Groups with 501C3 status are always welcome to rescue pets from us. We must be provided a copy of the Group Letter of Intent, Vet Referral and Pick up Lists.<br/><br/>WE ACCEPT CASH, CHECK AND CREDIT CARD<br/>YOU MUST PRESENT CURRENT VALID IDENTIFICATION AND BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT.<br/><br/>We do no allow pets to be adopted as gifts to other people.
