Steele

This handsome guy is Steele!

Steele is an approximately 2-year-old male Pit Bull/Chow Chow mix who weighs around 70 lbs. He was rescued as a stray on the streets of OKC.

Steele is a big-headed softie! He is affectionate and sweet tempered. He has been around an 8-year-old child and did very well. He is sensitive to everything going on around him and can get a little over-excited, so Steele needs an owner who will be patient with him and allow him to calm down before meeting anyone (he jumps to greet them, but he is gentle and will correct easily).

He would love another playful dog in the home, but he needs to meet all dogs in the home prior to adoption. He could be an only dog if included in activities and shown plenty of love and attention.

He is crate, house, and leash-trained (but could use some work). We recommend a harness for more control since he is a very strong dog.

Steele is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

To adopt Steele, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply.
