Starr's Story

Starr is a 2 year old, 62 pound dog who is looking for her forever home.
She is social with a good amount of energy and is attentive, playful and loves to be pet and doted on. She can be a bit wiggly and when excited can get a bit jumpy. She will sit and shake paw for treats, she is very treat motivated!

This dog is heartworm positive. Treatment for heartworms will be included with her adoption, so we are hoping to find a loving, patient home who can help this doggy get back to feeling 100%!

This dog has been sponsored in memory of Joey Jaime who loved animals more than anything.
That means this doggy is free to adopt!

I don't have a history with dogs. I may do well with a slow introduction to new dogs.
I don't have a history with cats. I may do well with them with a slow introduction.
I don't have a history with children but I may do well with them.

If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm.
