It's Starlight's Turn... Isn't It? <br/><br/>As I was walking Starlight the other day, I thought, How can I convey the joy I feel fostering this little guy? The famous quote from the late, great Jimmy Valvano comes to mind: "If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day." <br/><br/>Star makes me laugh. When I sit down in my chair, he comes flying from seemingly nowhere for the chance to sit in my lap and shower me with kisses. The way he chases the other dogs around and plays in the backyard with them. And the way he excitedly springs his head up, ears standing at attention, at the sound of another dogmaybe blocks awaythinking just maybe he could meet a new friend! <br/><br/>Star makes me think. What can I do to make this little boy happy? Of course, that's easy. He's such a happy guy all the time anyway. Just spend some time with him, go for a walk, talk to him, or sit and watch a ball game with him. <br/><br/>And he makes me cry. It's sad to see that others can't understand the love and joy this little creature brings to the world. Yes, I know he's a lot of energy, but for an active household, he'll pay you back tenfold in love and kisses, obedience and loyalty for every ounce of energy you put in. Just give him a fenced-in yard to run and play in, walk him regularly, and he'll love whatever adventure the two of you choose.<br/><br/>I've had many "full days" with Starlight. Now it's your turn.
