REQUIREMENTS: Adopters must be over 20 years of age; proof of residence, rental agreement pet policies and home check will be required. STEP 1: COMPLETE OUR ONLINE ADOPTION FORM There are no wrong or right answers! We do not expect perfection from our dogs, nor do we of people. We are looking to find caring, compassionate, and committed homes open to learning, wanting to actively help an animal, and committed to a lifetime of companionship + care. Complete form thoroughly and honestly. The more detail the better! Help us to get to know you as pet owners! One word or short answered application will be more difficult for us to approve. STEP 2: WE WILL RESPOND BY EMAIL OR PHONE, WITHIN 1 TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS, TO SCHEDULE AN ADOPTION INTERVIEW Haven't heard back from us? Please check your spam folder first. STEP 3: TO APPROVE YOUR ADOPTION APPLICATION, WE WILL CHECK REFERENCES AND SCHEDULE A VIRTUAL HOME CHECK STEP 4: IF IT SOUNDS LIKE A POTENTIAL MATCH, WE WILL SCHEDULE A MEET AND GREET PROMPTLY Meet & Greets sometimes end in adoption the same day, but not always. Breech of contract or failure to provide animal with proper care, vetting, attention, may result in steps to reclaim the animal. Meeting in person often provides more inside than the application. Sometimes the potential match on paper does not transfer as well in-person for you and the dog. It may take a few meet & greets to find your BFF.
