STAR's Story

“A dog will teach you unconditional love." This reminds us of Star, who has so much love to give her new family.

Why we love her: When your name is Star, you are very special, and this sweet dog is perfectly named. She is two years old and weighs 41 pounds. Star has such an exuberant personality and truly lives each day to the fullest.

One of our volunteers says: "Star's doggy grin is just the best!"

Star is a loyal walking companion who absolutely loves being close by your side to explore the trails on our beautiful shelter grounds. She is so curious and interested in her surroundings. Once she is done, Star is ready to hang out with you to enjoy the day and lots of pets and quality cuddle time. She is so congenial and good natured.

Star loves to run and play in the fenced yard, and we enjoy watching her have such a good time. She bounds about in total joy and is so agile and athletic. Star loves the toys and will go to the toy box to pick out the ones she wants to play with. She also enjoys play dates with her shelter best friend Sadey. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.

Star loves treats and waits patiently to be rewarded with one.

Star is a bright dog who should master any commands you wish to teach her.

Star had a fun outing with one of our volunteers who says: “Star was amazing. She walks like a dream on her leash and basically ignored everyone as they walked past. She was my passenger princess and wanted to make sure I was taking her somewhere fun.”

If you want to adopt a medium sized companion, come and meet this special dog. She really is a star and such a joyful presence!

E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information!

Please come visit!
