Stanley

Stanley was abandoned at a Dollar Tree store and picked up by Cobb County Animal Services. He quickly won the hearts of the county shelter volunteers and staff! Though a larger dog, Stanley is very gentle. He has a kind-hearted personality and aims to please. These great personality traits, however, don't get "seen" when merely looking at a dog in their county cell. Coupled with the fact that dark colored dogs with no unique markings are usually passed by solely because they don’t "stand out" ended Stanley on the kill list. When Our Pal's Place heard about Stanley, we agreed to meet him. After a few minutes with this sweet boy, our Intake Team knew we could help! As Stanley walked out of the county shelter, volunteers were with tears of joy and many a "thank you" were heard.<br/><br/>At our Pet Adoption Facility, Stanley lives in the Welcome Area as one of our greeters. He always has a smile on his face and a tail wag when volunteers arrive. He is housetrained and has never gotten into anything in our office area. He loves to play ball and go for walks. Stanley is the best boy ever!
