Stanley's Story

Meet “Meany,” or as his current foster calls him, Stanley!

A 3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier weighing 45lbs. Neutered and vaccinated.
He came from a hoarder home where he lived with about 40 other dogs.
He had 3 siblings, who were adopted as puppies.

Stanley was very scared when he first arrived at his foster home. He stood like a statue for two days, then walked in and out of the house on a leash.
He's a nice dog but will need a little guidance and time to meet other dogs.

He's doing great in his foster home now.

Stanley is very gentle with the 2-year-old kid in the house.
He is crate trained and getting better with house training.
He sits and comes when asked.
He has a nice coat and doesn't shed much.
His right-side teeth are a little off, but he eats just fine.
He's a bit afraid of men, barks at them, and runs away from them in the house. He's getting a bit better, but we believe men have hurt him, and some extra love and patience, plus a few tips from a trainer or us, will do the trick.

Stanley is being fostered in TX and will come on our next monthly transport if adopted.

It's time for Stanley to find his home and live a happy life full of love.
