Stanley – American Bulldog mix – 4yrs – male (80lbs)

Check out our handsome charmer, Stanley! This big jughead was surrendered by his owner when they moved out of the country and were unable to take him with them. It’s heartbreaking for Stanley… he lost people he loved and ended up in a very scary county shelter. Even scarier, he landed on the euthanasia list because they are extremely over-crowded and did not have space for him. We just couldn’t let that happen to such a sweet boy! We rescued him from that county shelter and brought him to us where he’ll be safe while he waits for his forever family.

We know that Stanley is housebroken and good in a home. He walks well on a leash, but is somewhat lazy and would rather go on a leisurely stroll than a long walk. He is a total cuddle bug and has no clue of his size. He loves to hang out with his person and is a great companion when watching TV. He has a few play buddies, but is not very interested in playing, he’d rather sit next to a person and get pets. Stanley loves our baby pool and we’re guessing he’d love any body of water – it’s so much fun to watch him splash around! Stanley is adjusting to his new place at the rescue and although we know he’d rather be in a home with his very own person, he’s doing pretty well. We know he’s waiting for his forever person or family to find him and snatch him up – don’t make him wait any longer!
