Stacy's Story

Meet Stacy!

At just 7.5 pounds, 10-year-old Stacy is a tiny Chihuahua mix and a true little princess. Sweet, gentle, and dainty, shes happiest curled up next to her favorite person for a cozy nap or quietly exploring the backyard at her own pace. If youre looking for a calm companion who loves to snuggle, Stacy may be your perfect match.

When meeting new people, Stacy gets excited and likes to announce their arrival with a few barks and happy little jumps. Once shes had a moment, shell happily wander over for pets and attention. Shes a wonderful little lady who loves being close to her people and firmly believes your lap was made just for her—though shes gracious enough to share it when necessary!

Stacy is fully house-trained and has excellent manners around the home. Shes not a big fan of her crate, especially if she knows youre nearby, and she can be vocal when left kenneled while youre outside. Because of this, shed do best in a house rather than an apartment or other home with close neighbors.

She knows her name, come, no, and stop. Stay is still a work in progress—she seems convinced youre calling her name instead! She may occasionally pretend she cant hear you, but somehow the sound of a treat bag never escapes her notice.

With other pets, Stacy is polite but independent. She mostly keeps to herself and would be perfectly happy as your one and only dog, though she could also live peacefully with respectful cats or a mellow canine companion.

One of Stacys cutest quirks is the adorable little hop she does when she runs. When its time to relax, she stretches all four legs out as she snoozes, making herself completely comfortable. Shes a true couch potato who matches the energy of her family—happy to spend quiet days by your side simply enjoying your company.

Stacys ideal home is calm, quiet, and laid back, with someone who appreciates the gentle companionship of a mature dog. In return, shell reward you with endless snuggles, unwavering loyalty, and all the love a tiny princess can give.
