Squirt's Story

Squirt was rescued from the Walker River Reservation, he was just a pup but had been raised by a feral mother in a den under some trees.
He has made a lot of progress over these past years, but he's always going to be a little weird.
For instance, he's not a dog that is going to beg you for attention. He's pretty independent and likes doing his own thing. He is fine if you want to pet him, and he likes human company. Squirt isn't great with other dogs and we are fairly sure that he would not enjoy cats. Older children who can respect his need for space should be fine.
He walks nicely on a leash, is not a barker, and doesn't make any trouble. Will need some help with housebreaking, but he's eager to please and pretty smart.
If you can appreciate a dog with a rough start in life, and are okay with letting him be who and what he is, he'd make a great addition to your home.
