Squirrel's Story

My name is Squirrel! I am a 60 lb Shepherd Mix at about 2.5 years old. I am housebroken, crate-trained, trustworthy in the house and I play nicely with dogs and cats! I am a pretty well-adjusted girl. I settled in quickly in my foster home and had no issue with any of my animal friends, and I still don't! I am totally into romping and playing. I can also entertain myself playing with toys and running in the backyard. I would love to find a person or a family who would me get a little more comfortable on leash. I can walk on it but I am a little nervous... once I see how much fun it is, I have no doubt, I will be a great walking partner. In terms of kids, I have been around humans under 6... I had no issue with them but I did proceed with caution so we think my comfort zone is more like 8+ if I were to have some kids in my forever family. When meeting new people, I can be swayed by some treats and pets; I am just a bit tentative but that's all a part of me expanding my socialization skills. My temperament is gentle and I am eager to receive love and attention! I am a stunner. Here is the link to the application: https://www.zivadogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs
