He may only be a 9 pounder but he’s FULL of personality. He’s really a silly, playful, mischievous and affectionate puppy!<br/><br/>At just over a year old, our chi-mix has loads of puppy energy and thankfully enough wisdom to take the hint and chill out around older fur-friends (dogs and cats). Small enough to play inside or out, he loves running and playing fetch. In the evenings after a fun-filled day, he’ll melt like butter in your lap (and shower you with kisses!). He’s a little sweetheart who is quickly learning all the manners he needs to be an ideal companion. If we were to give gold stars, he’d get one for being a Good Boy in His Crate, another for Car Manners, and one more for Gentle Treat-Taking. He even enjoys being out in the snow! Who knew any smol snow dogs existed?!<br/><br/>Squid is a social kid who can be a little nervous around new people. He’s working on his housetraining (tiny chi bladders need frequent emptying) and should have frequent opportunities to go outside. We’d like to see Squid with a moderate-to-active family who’ll take him out for regular walks or play in the yard (regardless of weather), and make sure his puppy brain is exercised regularly too. He’ll excel with parents who will provide solid leadership so he matures into a well-mannered adult, because if chi-terrier-mixes are allowed to make the rules, they will! A quiet or busy adult home would be fine, and a playful companion pup would be great!<br/><br/>Squid’s an awesome lil lovebug who will bring delight into your heart and home every day.
