Squeegee's Story

Meet the beautiful Miss Squeegee. Squeegee is a special girl, who came to us from the US Virgin Islands. She is a special case, who will need a special person. Miss Squeeg has a birth defect, that affects the use of her back legs. She DOES have control of her bowl movements, and bladder. Her back legs paralysis makes her scoot on her butt and use a wheelchair. But it DOESN'T let her stop her from leading a completely normal & pain free life.

- Squeegee is approximately 10 months old.
- She is an estimated shepherd mix.
- She is about 27LBS - and is fully grown.
- She has a birth defect with partial paralysis of the back legs.
- She has completed 3 months of physical therapy at Prime Pet Rehab - she can continue this rehab - and would greatly benefit from it.
- She is NOT spayed at this time - per veterinary guidance.
- She is UTD on her age appropriate vaccinations.
- She is micro chipped.
- She is de-wormed.
- She DOES come with a stroller and her wheelchair.
- She is dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, and people friendly.
- She would do well in a home - where her people are home more often than not. Or that want to bring her with them!

Squeegee does have the ability to control her bladder, and does have the ability to be potty trained. She knows to go outside. She does wear a diaper for preventative maintenance of her undercarriage. She is prone to UTIs due to the way her lady parts are so close to the ground. She does the best when she is put on a potty schedule.

Squeegee will require a special person - with lots of patience. We know this is going to be a tough find, but we are committed to finding her the perfect family.

If this is you, please apply!https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/64085/generic
