Spud in FL's Story
Spud
Male
4 years old
18 pounds

Spud walks well on a leash, is crate-trained, and housebroken. He is reserved when meeting new people, but adjusts over time. Once comfortable, he has grown to love his foster family, both the husband and wife. He has adjusted very well.

Spud is very active. He loves his toys, other dogs, and running in a yard. He requires a strong, active family with a fenced-in yard and a companion dog. He needs to be able to burn off his energy. He would love activities such as hiking and boating. We are not sure how he would do with children, as he has not been around any.

Spud is not a lap dog; he is most comfortable playing with toys and racing around the yard. At 18 pounds, he may sound overweight, but he is pure muscle. He is strong and needs an owner who can handle his strength and activity levels. We hope Spud is soon able to meet his person, who can also meet his energy needs.

Spud is currently being fostered in Florida.

If interested, fill out an adoption application.
