Spud's Story

Meet Spud. This big fella is a mountain of love. He was terrified when he came in but he is getting less scared every day. He walks pretty well on leash unless he really wants to get somewhere then make sure you’ve got a good grip. He was neutered prior to coming to us and he knows commands, so we have no doubt that at one point he was truly loved and cared for. He is house trained and keeps his kennel clean. He could probably stand to lose a few pounds so an active family would be best. We believe he is at least 5 years old or maybe older, but has the spunk of a much younger dog. He does not pay any mind to other dogs and we feel he would be fine with fur siblings.
