Spud's Story

Spud is a 6 month old pit bull puppy. He is the sweetest thing. He came to us after he had been hit by a car and left on the roadway. Law enforcement picked him up and called us right away. Spud suffered from a fractured pelvis and fractured right femur. His pelvis has to heal on its own; his femur has a plate in it to help it heal. He was on crate rest for over a month and is now doing physical therapy every four days or so to help him heal as well as he can. He limped rather severely on his leg before PT started. Now, he bears a lot of weight on it and usually is on all fours. Spud is a beautiful red-nosed pit bull. With his bully breed, he has to be adopted outside of Sioux City limits, or outside of any other town with a bully ban. He weighs about 40 pounds. He is working hard on house training and is almost 100%. He is good with cats, older calmer kids, and both big and small dogs. He is a puppy and has a lot of energy and wants to play a lot! He is a little clumsy with his stature, but he'd never know any different. Just as often as he likes to play, he likes to cuddle. Spud is vaccinated, neutered, and micro chipped. He is looking for a special person to give him his forever home. Spud's adoption fee is $135.

Our Mission
Noah’s Hope started rescuing Siouxland animals in 2007. We became a registered non-profit organization in 2010, and we opened our Thrift Store at 26th and Myrtle to help support our work.
