Spud's Story
Spud, affectionately known as "big dumb boy", is a sweet, lovable giant who is still learning how to navigate the world around him. He loves exploring, sniffing everything in sight, and carrying around his favorite finds-especially sticks and squeaky balls-but his favorite thing may be getting attention and cuddles from his people. Spud can be very strong and excitable on leash and doesn't quite realize how big he is, but he settles nicely once he gets comfortable and genuinely just wants to be close to his person. He approaches new experiences with a mix of caution and excitement and would benefit from someone patient who can help him build confidence, learn some basic manners, and discover what it means to be a dog in the world.
