Do you like being judged? Then Sprocket may be your soulmate.<br/><br/>Sprocket is a one-of-a-kind pup who has very strong opinions about both food and people. Table scraps and hotdogs? Yes, please. Actual dog food? Hard pass (for now—we’re holding out, because he’s not running a Dollar General buffet here anymore).<br/><br/>Sprocket isn’t going to love you at first sight—especially if you’re a man. He’s suspicious, he’s selective, and he will absolutely side-eye you with his little Grinch toes until you prove yourself worthy. He is also very resistant to being picked up. But if you’re patient, respectful, and willing to let him set the pace, he’ll let you into his circle of trust.<br/>This may take days. If you’re not willing to put in the time, Sprockets not the guy for you. <br/><br/>He’s not looking to be anyone’s cuddle bug right away. He’s looking for someone who will respect his quirks, appreciate his sass, and cheer him on as he learns that the world isn’t such a bad place after all. Sprocket does not like being picked up- not even by the people he does like. He will climb up into your lap but if you try to pick him<br/>Up he will yell at you!! <br/><br/>The Fine Print:<br/> • Needs a patient, dog-savvy adopter<br/> • Not a fan of men (he’ll need a slow, positive introduction)<br/> • Still learning that kibble is, in fact, edible<br/> • Comes with toes straight out of Whoville<br/><br/>If you’re up for a challenge with a big reward, apply to meet Sprocket today. Adoption fees are NON NEGOTIABLE.<br/><br/>1.) All dogs are adopted to the best possible match and calling or emailing the rescue will not speed up the process or liken your chances of being chosen.<br/><br/>2.) You will be notified by adoption coordinator if your application is approved. Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We do not have “hours” of operation.<br/><br/>3.) If the dog is posted as Available on Petfinder, it is available but may have pending applications and meet and greets set up.<br/><br/>4.) If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply- we are too busy for window shoppers! Every dog is available to be taken home with you at the time of the meet and greet.<br/><br/>5.) We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick. Adult dogs and most puppies over 6 months of age will require a slip lead.<br/><br/>6.)
