For nearly a week, he refused to leave the safety of his crate. He would curl up quietly, watching his foster family from a distance, unsure whether the world around him was safe. The wounds on his legs told a heartbreaking story of the life he had endured.

But with patience, kindness and a safe place to land, Spotty slowly began to let his guard down.

Today, he is a very different dog.

The boy who once wouldn’t leave his crate now seeks out affection and absolutely loves being loved. He sleeps alongside his foster family, asks for tummy rubs and soaks up every bit of attention he can get.

Spotty is a quiet, gentle and well-mannered dog. He also loves playing with other dogs! His furry foster siblings have helped him build confidence, and he really enjoys having canine friends around him.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT SPOTTY:
• House-trained, Crate housetrained
• • Walks very well on leash
• Affectionate and loving, Quiet and Shy
• Medium energy
• Loves his walks — 3 times a day, at least t 30 minutes each
• Enjoys playing with other dogs
•

He would do best with a family who understands that building trust takes time — but also knows that once a shy dog finally gives you his heart, the love you receive in return is incredibly special. A fully fenced yard is a must for this special boy.Spotty would thrive in a home with another easygoing, playful and confident dog who can continue to show him that the world is a safe and wonderful place.

Spotty has already survived the hard part. Now he deserves to experience the beautiful part.

We have been posting Spotty for months, hoping that somewhere out there is the person who will look into those soulful eyes and see not a broken dog, but a loving, loyal companion who is simply waiting for someone to believe in him. Could that person be you?

ADOPTION FEE: $488

If you are interested in adoption, instead of emailing PARS, please download the Application form at:
www.peelanimalrescuesociety.com/adopt-a-dog
Fill the form and email to:
info@peelanimalrescuesociety.com

(091026)
