Spot's Story

SPOT
Rochester NY area
Male, mixed breed, (almost) 6 months old, 58 lb.
Yes folks you read that right! This boy is a tank! We need to do a DNA test to confirm his breeds but right know all we know is: BIG! His legs (his forearms) are like tree trunks (like he spent leg day at the gym focusing only on arms), he’s built like an ox, he gives kisses whether you are ready or not and he thinks he’s the size of a toy poodle. If you don’t allow dogs in bed with you, keep scrolling because he’s a back sleeper and sleeps as close as possible with all 4 feet in the air. We do promise he doesn’t snore as loud as some bed partners.
Spot is working on leash walking and basic commands but is (very) smart and catches on faster than…well…faster than many things. He’s willing to learn and loves treats. He is social and loves not only his furry foster siblings but also loves daycare while his foster Mom is at work. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and PASSED his cat test (although he is curious and would love for the cat to play with him).
No apartments for this guy, he needs space to grow. He has some black whiskers and some white and he has thick soft hair with extremely cute freckles. He’s an absolute love and is looking for an amazing forever home where he will be cherished and regularly told he’s handsome.
To foster or adopt this lovely boy, please submit the application for adoption, which can be found on our website at www.k9orphans.org. Please message us with any questions. Thank you
