Spot's Story
When we met Spot, his future was looking dark. He had been dumped at a high-kill shelter, in San Antonio, Texas- a fate too many innocent dogs face. With an instinct for survival, Spot made sure he showed off his beautiful, loving personality in spite of his trauma. He quickly became a favorite among the staff and volunteers of the shelter- they raved about how sweet he was and how well he did with the other dogs.

We could not see him die.

We got Spot out of that place and he will never see the inside of a shelter ever again.

Spot is still in Texas, living safely in a foster home. He lives with 6 other dogs, who have quickly become his best friends! Spot is always up for a romp in the backyard or playing tug in the house! He is friendly with people and is super easy-going. He is about 1 year old and 35 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained.

It might be hard to see in his photos, but Spot has a little heart-shaped marking on the top of his head. His heart is so big, it's bursting out of his body!

All spot needs now is a happy ending in a forever home. If you think he is a good match for your home, apply to adopt Spot at homerunhounds.org. He can be transported to any state!
