Spot's Story

Meet Spot. He is a one-year-old male chihuahua terrier mix and was surrendered with his brother (Hamburger) due to their owner having surgery. He is part of an "oops" litter.

Those adorable chunky turned-in little legs and long thick bodies scream of Bassett, though owner put down Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier on the surrender form.

He was living with two other dogs and a cat in an urban apartment and is very playful and loveable. Owner states no aggression. He is a very timid pup at first but, like a typical chihuahua, he is fiercely loyal and loving once he trusts his person. Kids and new people, especially men, are still a little scary so slow introductions are best for this guy! Socialization is a work in progress and hes becoming more confident and curious everyday!

Spot is vaccinated and scheduled for neuter on 3/31. He is potty trained and crate trained- he sleeps in his crate overnight and is crated when his foster is away from home. He loves to play with his older foster fur brother, a very energetic husky/shepherd, who has helped him adjust beautifully to his new foster home. He seems to be a little more motivated by toys than treats- chasing after balls in the backyard is his favorite past time aside from snuggling on your lap or at your feet.

APPLY TO ADOPT SPOT

https://rosemariesrescueranch.com/dog-adoption/

In the Consideration section, under 'Application Notes', please tell us about yourself to help us get a feel for you and your family, and as a fit for the pet you are interested in.
