Let’s Get Spot Home!<br/> Our big, handsome boy Spot has been waiting way too long for his forever family and is officially now the longest resident of the shelter, a title no dog wants. He’s fun-loving, affectionate and full of personality, but after so much time in the shelter, this sweetheart is starting to feel the stress of kennel life.<br/>At almost 3 years old, Spot has that optimal mix of youthful energy and loyal companionship. He’s ready to trade the noise of the shelter for a comfy couch, long walks and a family to call his own.<br/>Spot’s favorite things:<br/> Toys — he LOVES them, especially the squeaky ones!<br/> Learning new tricks; he already knows sit, down and shake (his “shake” might be a little extra, but we love him for it <br/> Hanging with other dogs — he’s social and would love a canine buddy (meet & greet needed!)<br/> He LOVES the water<br/>Because of his energy and size, Spot would do best in a home with kids 10+ who can safely join in his joyful zoomies. He’s shown some nervousness around cats, but with patience, he may learn to coexist peacefully.<br/>Spot is everything you could want in a best friend: smart, silly, loyal and loving. He just needs that one special person to give him the second chance he deserves!
