Spork's Story

Spork is a spunky little guy who was rescued from a kill shelter hours before he was to be euthanized. He has been with his foster since mid-January and has taken some time to adjust but has really improved. He is a bit skittish and fearful of certain things like loud noises, storms and wary of new things but not in an aggressive way. He is so absolutely adorable and when he gets his zoomies you can't help but laugh and laugh! The foster is working with a trainer and he wants to learn. There are 2 other dogs where he is, one of which he gets along with and plays with (border collie mix) but the other not so much, a 13 year old boxer who is more the problem than Spork. We have seen Spork do great with other dogs while out at adoption events. He will need someone to take their time with him and give him as much time as he needs to adjust to a new place and surroundings. For this reason, we want him to be placed quickly. We think he would do with with older children who aren't running around because of his sometimes nervousness and he has not been around cats. A doggie playmate to match his playstyle would probably be fine! Spork just needs someone to let him know he matters and is loved for the rest of his life! <br/>www.angelsottheanimals.org
