SPORK's Story

I weigh almost 60 pounds and am considered am a large breed dog. I am a very smart and friendly dog! I ended up at this shelter because I walked into a bar near me and asked for help. No one could find my person and I have never been there before but I was friendly and they got me the help I needed. It can take me a tiny bit to warm up sometimes but my care takers have noticed how much I love pets, scratches and cuddles. I am not a huge fan of barriers and do jump up and bark at my kennel door sometimes and may do the same thing to people passing fences, windows or doors of home I live in next. I know basic obedience and would love to learn more. Consistent training will also help with my anxiety around barriers. I will do best in a home with dog savvy kids, older children or adults only. I will do best if I am able to run and exercise often so I can burn off extra energy. I am looking forward to a comfy couch to cuddle with you on after we play! You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032. Come and visit me today, I'd love to go home with you!
