6/23/2025<br/>Spiral is an approximately 3.5 year old mixed breed that weighs 54 pounds.<br/>Spiral is much better known as Dottie now…for all her polka dots!!! This girl has put in the work to learn what it means to be a real dog and a family pet, after her previous life left her isolated and tethered outdoors. <br/>She is an exuberant, happy girl once she is familiar with you. While getting there may take a few days, it’s definitely worth it because she has a crazy amount of willingess and fun. She enjoys playing, sometimes too rough for the smaller dogs, so a 25+ pound canine housemate would be ideal. She has really taken an interest in training. So much so, that it originally made walks nearly impossible as she was constantly trying to get in front of you to sit or stay, but so close to your legs that walking wasn’t safe! She was always waiting for her directions from her foster. Now she has found that happy medium, but really thrives with working her brain with obedience and would love an adopter that would enjoy bonding that way. She would love a relaxed adult home, with active humans. Little kiddos have too many quick movements and that still makes her uncomfortable. <br/><br/>Spiral is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250 plus any other donation you wish to make to help out of medical expenses. <br/>All dogs adopted locally through SGDR Receive a free six week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavioral support through our project reward program with director/trainer Ashley Reum.
