Spike (courtesy post)'s Story

Young, handsome, sassy and SO much fun, SPIKE is in the house and looking to land in your house! This young man is a Retriever/ pit mix who still has a bit more growing to do! At approx. 6-7 months in age SPIKE is young, energetic, would love an active family, and seems to be quite the social butterfly. SPIKE will guard his food since he and his brother came to us hungry and underweight. He is eager to find his walking, hiking, running, funning people, and will be on the lookout and waiting for you to adopt him for forever. He does well with other dogs, preferring those who are his size and like to zoom and play like he does. Come meet him! Spike is a courtesy post for the Brooke County Animal Shelter in Beechbottom, WV. Please contact the shelter at 304-394-0800 for more information or to arrange a meet and greet.
