Spencer

Spencer is everything you think a retriever would be. He is about 2 years old and 63 pounds. He is super friendly with humans, freely giving out kisses to anyone that will take them and easily letting his enthusiasm turn into a jumpy greeting. Spencer will never turn down a canine friend no matter what the size. He is a happy goofy guy for sure and doesn’t always understand why other pups aren’t receptive of his outgoing personality. Like most retrievers Spencer loves food so much. This makes him easy to train, but it also makes things like the garbage can an extra fun temptation. Despite his size Spencer has enjoyed playing with the kiddos and realizes he needs to be gentle. Crate and house training have been going well, but we do recommend an easy walker to aid with his leash skills. Overall Spencer would make an excellent addition to any moderately active family that enjoys incorporating their pups in social activities.
