Spencer

<p><br/>Update **5/14/07**<br/><p><br/>Spencer is approximately 2.5 years old now, and has blossomed while in foster care. He is gaining more and more confidence and trust each day, and LOVES having visitors. He is a very affectionate boy, his favorite thing to do is follow his person, and just BE wherever you are. He loves napping on the couch with his foster mom, and still thinks he is a lap dog. He's LOVES to cuddle, and has spooning with his foster mom down to a "T." He's learned that it is ok, actually FUN to run around the backyard, but hasn't quite learned how to stop yet-he gets so excited when we run that he comes barrelling full speed at me and then kind of slides to stop himself, but he's getting better! He is extremely intelligent, and words can't describe how affectionate he is. He would love to have a youngers "sis" in his new home, to continue to teach and show him that new things are ok-most of them are even good! He is affectionately called the Cookie Monster in his foster home, once he realized treats were good, he's got his eye out for them and thinks once he finishes one, there is an endless supply waiting for him!<br/><p><br/><p><br/>=======================<br/><p><br/>8/31/06:<br/><p><br/>Spencer was rescued from life on a chain, and is one grateful soul. He is about a year and a half old, but still plays like a puppy. He is learning what life should be like in his foster home and is loving every second of it! He loves to explore in the yard, and loves to curl up with his "person" and give kisses. He is very good with his foster sisters, and loves to follow them everywhere. <br/><p> <br/>He is still learning the ropes on living the "good" life and is not yet fully leash or house train-but he is very intelligent and is working on his manners. He knows how to sit, and definitely knows how to give kisses.
