Spence's Story

Spence is a truly exceptional boy that came from the very high kill shelter in Riverside CA. He has accomplished a feat we have never seen, he survived for 200 days in a shelter known for killing stray like himself in less than a week, longs stays are virtually unheard of but Spence endeared himself to the staff so much he was identified as the shelter favorite and was so good sharing his kennel with other dogs he proved to be a very easy boy that was easy to test other dogs with. His good behavior was also rewards with multiple days out with shelter volunteers, again something unheard of but his wonderful nature and stricking good looks attracted people whereever he went and he was a great representative for the shelter and dogs available for adoption, it had remained a mystery why he was never taken home. Perhaps it was because he was identified by the shelter to be 8 years old, except it is strongly believed by everyone that he was several years younger, much more likely to be only 4 to 5, maybe 6 years old if, with that said come and meet this superstar boy and come judge for yourself.

Spence love to people, to play with others dogs but would also be just as happy being someone's one and only. At 72 lbs he big enough to be your protect and at the same time your perfect snuggle buddy. Did someone say let go for a drive, a walk, a hike, and adventure, a burger or pup cup, Spence is up for what life has to offer and would love to explore it with you.
