Sparrow's Story

Goose and sparrow are brother and sister. Their story is a bit of a sad one, they were part of the 19 puppies that we found abandoned in the woods earlier this year. After months of recovering they are the last 2 looking for their forever homes. They can go individually what they can go together and we will work with their adopter on their adoption feed as a pair. I usually will not allow siblings to go together, however these 2 are thick as thieves. They can frequently be found curled up together sleeping using each other as a pillow. Their crates are side-by-side because of how close they are

Goose:
I was actually going to keep Goose "Goober" for my personal dog, however I realize that he needs a lot more attention than I am able to give him running the rescue. He is a very sweet dog who wants nothing more than to love on his human. I've always called goose the little genius puppy because he picks up on things super quick within the 1st week or 2 he was sitting when told to do so. He also knows how to shake paws. He plays great with everyone big or small. His current playmate is a 10 pound Boston mix.

Sparrow:
Where to begin with this big girl? Sparrow is a big teddy bear. We held on to her a little bit longer as she did have some trust issues that needed to be worked through when it came to humans. Now she is a playful active girl who is happy-go-lucky 90% of the time period the other 10% of the time she is passed out sleeping harder than someone who hasn't slept in days. She is a lot more independent than her brother, however I really like that about her.

Age: 8months
Breed: Lab mix
Dog Friendly: Yes
Cat Friendly: Yes
Other Animal Friendly: Horse friendly
Kid Friendly: Yes
Resource Guarding: No
Any Other Aggression: No
Crate Trained: Yes
House Trained: Yes
Leash Trained: Yes
Car Rides: Rides fine
Basic Obedience: Yes!
