Hi, my name is Spanky, I’m a very sweet, lovable 2-year-old Pointer/Hound mix.<br/>My journey began in a small town where I faced the harsh reality of being abandoned by my family. Like many others in similar situations, I struggled to survive, and without access to food and water, my fate could have easily mirrored that of countless others who perished alone. <br/>However, I consider myself fortunate because a kind-hearted stranger chose to give me a second chance. <br/>Today, I am thriving and very happy, thanks to my loving foster mom. She believes in my potential and encourages me to find a family of my own. <br/>She knows I would make an excellent companion for an active family eager for adventures, and I would happily unwind on the couch with them afterward.<br/><br/>I love playing with dogs and would do great in a new family that has a playful pup. I could do ok in a home with a cat that is dog savvy.<br/><br/>I can’t wait to go on a hike with you and be your sidekick.
