He’s very attached to his human and always eager to please.<br/>He turned 3 years old in September 2025, is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.<br/><br/>Soup knows his basic obedience, walks nicely on leash, and has a great recall, which allows him to enjoy off-leash adventures in the woods. He’s also trained on an E-collar.<br/><br/>He gets along well with respectful dogs and currently lives with two others, including an intact male. Soup has often been used as a demo dog in socialization classes, always doing wonderfully.<br/><br/>Soup thrives with a confident, fair, and consistent handler. He can be a bit insecure at times but looks to his person for guidance when given clear structure and leadership.<br/><br/>He does experience some separation anxiety, but a solid training protocol is already in place and progress has been great so far. His future family should be committed to continuing his training with patience and consistency.<br/><br/>Soup is an active, athletic dog who needs both mental and physical stimulation to feel his best. He’ll do great with a family that enjoys an active lifestyle and can dedicate around 2 hours a day to exercise and engagement. Without enough activity, he can get a little silly! ?<br/><br/>Soup would excel in canicross, agility, scent detection, or obedience work.<br/><br/>He’s good with children, but since he can be a bit clumsy at times, we recommend a home with kids over 10 years old.<br/><br/>??
