This pup and her siblings don't look like their parents (who we have seen) at all! Mom is a small size grey pitbull and dad is a terrier, spaniel type mix. All the pups except one were black or dark grey with a bit of brindling on their legs and some white patches. The pups were born on November 5th, and they will probably be 25 - 30 pounds full grown.<br/><br/>We met these pups a week ago when we gave them a first parvo vaccine and asked if the owner wanted help placing any of them. She gave us two and has found homes for the others. We are also going to be spaying the mom, at her request, at no charge to the owner. This was an accidental litter and the owner is happy to get the dog spayed.<br/><br/>These pups are happy, outgoing and confident. They are doing well in their foster homes, where they are learning the basics, and hanging out with other dogs who are teaching them the ropes. They are healthy, but have a very small amount of hair loss around the eyes, a very mild case of puppy mange. It's common and very easily treated which is what we are doing.<br/><br/>If you are looking for a mid size dog (when grown), with an interesting mix this pup could be right for you! We will be open to placing them in a home with other pro-social dogs or as a solo pup in an active home where other dogs are a part of the daily routine. Pups are a lot of work, so please don't apply unless you're ready to commit to all the training needed to bring the best out of these girls.
