Sophie's Story
Sophie
1 year old, spayed female
Aprox 50 pounds

The amazing Sophie is an approximately one year old spayed female Shepherd cross who had a rough start in life and deserves a safe, happy forever home. Sophie is playful, affectionate, and loyal once she knows you. She is wary of new people and is still working on socialization. She has come a long way from the scared little dog she was a month ago, and now just loves her foster people, and older foster dog siblings (although she wishes they were more willing to play with her). Sophie is great on the leash and is good in her kennel during the day with a break at lunch. Her favourite place to sleep is with her people. Sophie is quite small for her breed, weighing in at approximately 20 kg. She loves attention and is a big fan of belly rubs. Sophie is smart as a whip and was housetrained by following her foster dog siblings’ example. She also learned “sit” in about a minute! Sophie loves people once she realizes they are safe, and this loyal little girl would be the perfect addition to a home with a little patience when it comes to working on her nervousness around new people. Her foster family adore her and her sweet, silly personality.

Adoption fee is $295. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.
