Sophie is a 12-year-old Pomeranian mix who came into our care due to her owner's passing away. She is so friendly, cute and lively. You would never guess she is a senior. She is a bit overweight, so her New Year's resolution is to slim down. We typically receive many applications for every dog we post. All adoption meetings are by appointment.<br/><br/>Our dog adoption fee is $450 for dogs aged seven months to seven years old, and $250 for dogs aged eight years and older. Every dog we place receives age-appropriate vaccines, is treated for worms, ticks, and fleas, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and spayed or neutered before adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. Please fill out the adoption application if you would like to be considered for a dog in our care.<br/><br/>With few exceptions, dogs are happiest and well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families willing to commit to both.
